The Frequency Guide

A practical reference for the main frequency ranges, carrier tones, harmonic anchors, and symbolic systems used across the REIDOS catalog. Use this page as a guide, not as medical advice.

The Core Spectrum

These are the target frequency ranges commonly used in binaural beat and isochronic audio design. They overlap with measurable EEG bands and form the foundation of many REIDOS sessions. The goal is to design audio that supports a particular listening state, not to guarantee a fixed neurological outcome for every listener.

0.1 Hz

Breath Resonance

HRV & Respiratory Rhythm

A slow breathing rhythm close to 6 breaths per minute, often discussed in heart rate variability and resonance breathing research. This is not a brainwave frequency. It is used in REIDOS as a cardiovascular and nervous-system pacing reference for Heart-Mind Coherence style architecture.

SleepRecoveryHRV

0.5 Hz

Deep Delta

Slow-Wave Inspired Architecture

A very low delta target used for overnight sleep themes, deep rest, and slow-wave inspired listening. Sleep research links slow-wave activity with restorative processes, but REIDOS tracks are not medical treatments. For binaural versions, headphones are recommended for the intended effect.

Low Delta to Theta

Dreamlike Threshold Range

The transition zone often used for sleep-onset, dreamlike, and hypnagogic listening themes. In REIDOS, this range is commonly used for deep relaxation, inner imagery, and subconscious exploration style sessions.

3.5 Hz

Hypnagogic Gate

DMT Threshold Series

A low theta reference used in REIDOS for sleep-onset, inner imagery, and symbolic visionary themes. The DMT Threshold name is creative framing, not a claim that the audio releases or increases DMT in the brain.

VisionaryPinealTheta

4.32 Hz

432-Derived Theta

Obsidian Pineal Grid

A symbolic theta reference derived from 432 Hz divided by 100. It sits in the theta range and is used in REIDOS as a clean mathematical anchor for deep meditation, darker pineal-themed sessions, and harmonic architecture.

VisionaryMeditationTheta

7.83 Hz

Schumann Reference

Earth Resonance Theme

Commonly associated with the fundamental Schumann resonance of the Earth-ionosphere cavity. In REIDOS, 7.83 Hz is used as a grounding-themed theta-alpha bridge. It is a symbolic and acoustic reference point, not proof that the listener is physically synchronising with the Earth.

GroundingMeditationCalm

10 Hz

Central Alpha

Relaxed Focus

A central alpha-band reference often associated with relaxed awareness, reduced mental noise, and calm alertness. Used in Alpha Meridian sessions and as a bridge between active thinking and resting-state listening.

FocusCalmMeditation

12 – 15 Hz

SMR Range

Sensorimotor Rhythm

The low-beta range associated with sensorimotor rhythm research. SMR neurofeedback has been studied in attention, sleep, and self-regulation contexts. In REIDOS, this range is used for calm concentration, stillness, and focus-support listening.

40 Hz

Gamma Reference

High-Frequency Processing

A gamma-band reference widely discussed in cognitive neuroscience and sensory-stimulation research. 40 Hz has been studied in memory, attention, and Alzheimer’s-related research, but REIDOS tracks are not medical devices or treatments.

FocusMemoryCognition

Above Entrainment

These are not brainwave entrainment frequencies. They are carrier tones, harmonic anchors, overlay layers, and symbolic reference points used to shape the sound field around the main entrainment target.

111 Hz

Hypogeum Reference

Ancient Acoustics Inspiration

Inspired by archaeoacoustic research around the Hal Saflieni Hypogeum in Malta, where strong resonance behaviour has been reported around the low 100 Hz region. REIDOS uses 111 Hz as a symbolic low harmonic anchor for temple, cymatic, and pineal-themed architectures.

CymaticAncient

432 Hz

Alternative A4 Reference

Harmonic Tuning Anchor

An alternative tuning reference often used in meditation music and harmonic sound design. In REIDOS, 432 Hz is treated as a creative and mathematical anchor, not as a standalone healing claim.

HarmonicTuning

The Nine Solfeggio Frequencies

The Solfeggio set is used in REIDOS as a symbolic and harmonic overlay system for meditation, relaxation, and healing-themed sessions. These tones carry cultural and spiritual associations, but they should be treated as creative reference points rather than proven medical frequencies.

Listening & Safety Note

REIDOS audio is designed for relaxation, meditation, focus, sleep support, and immersive listening. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Use a comfortable volume. Do not listen to sleep, deep relaxation, or altered-state sessions while driving or operating machinery. People with epilepsy, seizure disorders, serious neurological or psychiatric conditions, or implanted hearing/neurostimulation devices should consult a qualified clinician before using rhythmic audio stimulation.
