When and how refunds work

A clear refund window on the Architect membership. Honest handling for digital licenses. No fine-print traps.

The short version

Architect membership: 14-day refund window from your first purchase. Cancel any time after that โ€” no further charges, access continues to the end of the period you've paid for.

Practitioner License & Practitioner Pro: because these grant immediate professional permissions, refund eligibility is handled case-by-case. We'll always treat you fairly.

This policy is offered in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. It does not exclude or replace them.

Architect membership refunds

If you've just signed up for an Architect membership and decide it isn't for you, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment.

  • Applies to new Architect subscriptions only (monthly or yearly).
  • One-time use per person. The 14-day window does not reset on renewal.
  • If you cancel inside the 14-day window, your Studio access ends when the refund is processed.

After the 14-day window, you can cancel any time to stop future renewals. Access continues to the end of the period you've already paid for. Mid-period cancellations are not refunded by default.

Practitioner License refunds

A Practitioner License grants a professional permission that takes effect as soon as it's issued. For that reason, the 14-day blanket refund does not automatically apply.

If you haven't yet used the license for any client-facing work or recordings, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. Once the license has been used in your practice, refunds are handled case-by-case at our reasonable discretion.

Practitioner Pro refunds

Practitioner Pro bundles Architect membership and a Practitioner License. The two halves are treated as follows:

  • Architect portion โ€” refundable within 14 days, as above.
  • Practitioner License portion โ€” refundable within 14 days if the license hasn't been used in client work; otherwise case-by-case.

If you ask for a refund inside the 14-day window and haven't used the license, you'll receive a full refund on the bundled price.

How to request a refund

  1. Email reidos.contact@protonmail.com from the email address connected to your REIDOS account.
  2. Use the subject line "Refund request".
  3. Include the plan you bought, the date of purchase, and a short note on why you're requesting a refund (optional, but helpful).

What we'll do

  • We'll confirm receipt within a reasonable time.
  • If your request is eligible, the refund is processed to the original payment method.
  • Depending on your bank, refunds typically appear within 5โ€“10 business days.
  • If we can't approve a refund, we'll tell you clearly why and discuss next steps.

Faulty or misdescribed service

If something we sold you doesn't work as described, or there's a major failure with the service, contact us. Under the Australian Consumer Law you may be entitled to a remedy regardless of this refund window. We will work with you to put it right.

Your statutory rights

This refund policy is offered in addition to โ€” not instead of โ€” the consumer guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010). Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy under that law that cannot be excluded.

If a consumer guarantee applies and we fail to meet it, your remedies are determined by that law and are not limited to the 14-day window above.
